Wild Fiber Party!
Date: Sunday, January 24th
Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm
We're having a wild fiber party at "...have you any Wool?" Andrea Marquis, yarn rep for Fiber-Isle Fine Yarns, Bijou Basin and many others, will be here to tell you all about Bison and Yak yarn. We'll have sample projects for you to see and yarn and patterns in stock for purchase. We're happy to take special orders for you too! Andrea will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about these luxurious fibers so please plan to stop by and meet her!
Here's the little bit that I know about these fibers. Yak is as soft as cashmere and it's warmer than wool. Bison is a durable fiber that's also soft and warm as well as being hypoallergenic. No itching! I've felt both and they're fantastic!
Did I mention that there'll be coordinating snacks? Yum!

Social Knitting Hours:
Sunday Afternoons and Thursday Evenings
Join us for some social knitting! Share the company of other knitters as you stitch away the afternoon surrounded by fiber and conversation. This is not an instructional time so bring some easy knitting and relax and enjoy. There is no charge for this event.
Sundays: 12:30 - 2:30pm
NEW SUNDAY HOURS STARTING 10/4/2009:
Sundays: 1:30 - 3:30pm
Thursdays: 6:30 - 8:30pm
