Learn to Helical Knit

Learn the basics of helical knitting. Helical knitting can be used to create one row jogless stripes or a great way to alternate hand dyed skeins. During class we will be making a cowl to learn the technique. This workshop meets 1 time on 9/21 from 1pm -3pm. 

Skills necessary to take this workshop: Students must know how to knit and purl and have a good handle on knitting in the round. 

Homework: Please knit the lower edge and be ready to begin the body. 

Cost: $20 + materials 

Materials: 1 Bulky weight skeins of high contrast yarn (sample used Walrus by Wonderland Yarns and Mystery by Wool Addicts), US 10 24” circular needle.
